TOMSK, July 14 – RIA Tomsk. Students of Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) created the printer which can carry out drafts according with predetermined drawing, the press service of higher education institution reported.
"Students of elite technical education of TPU constructed the slate printer. It will be simpler to do drafts with its help. The idea of such device was offered by first-year students", - it is told in the message.
It is specified that the printer puts the draft by means of the usual slate pencil attached to moving parts. It can apply predetermined drawing on paper. Thus necessary accessories for the device can be printed on 3D printer thanks to what they will be inexpensive."A slate pencil is fixed upright and moves on a sheet of paper by means of gears and step engine. the printer is programmed to one version of a drawing, but it is planned to finish it so that a person could set drawings by himself", - is explained in the message.
It is specified that the development was presented at the international IT forum in Khanty-Mansiysk on July 6-7. According to the students, the idea impressed guests of the exhibition.
