TOMSK, Apr 19 – RIA Tomsk. The Scientific and Educational Center (SEC) "Materials and technologies for space application" will open until the end of April on the basis of Tomsk State University (TSU) with assistance of CJSC SPF Micran, heads of the company told on Tuesday to journalists.
"We already have one scientific and educational center together with TSU, which has been open last year. It is called "Radio electronics and the microwaves". It will be the second SEC, which will be devoted to space technologies", – the Deputy CEO of JSC SPF Mikran Valery Kagadey told.
In turn the CEO of the enterprise Vladimir Dotsenko noted that official opening of the center is planned for the end of April, 2016. The similar centers are one of ways of selection of future employees for Micran – specialists of the company supervise talented students since the first courses and young specialists can already be heads of own projects in the end of their study."We have a SEC with TUSUR and it has already rather rich history in products, unique for us, and discoveries. Rather big number of undergraduates, graduate students are trained there. Rather good scientific and educational activity", – Dotsenko added.
The press service of Micran specified that the main objectives of the new center, as well as the previous SECs, will become educational, scientific and innovative activity. Also master's and doctoral thesis can be defended on its base, it is carried out joint researches with Russian and foreign scientists.
