TOMSK, Jul 8 – RIA Tomsk. The engineering center of inorganic materials of Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) on which creation 100 million rubles allocated, will be engaged in development of new technologies for raw materials processing and receiving valuable materials from industrial wastes, the press service of the university reported on Friday.
It is explained that in recent years change technologies of processing of raw materials as reserves of minerals are exhausted. In particular, if earlier from breed only the key component was taken, now with it work in a complex – for example, in passing with copper iron receiving. Technologies which will be developed in TPU except other, will allow to replace import materials in strategic industries.
"TPU got the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on creation of the Engineering center of inorganic materials. <…> The total amount of a subsidy for two years amount to 100 million rubles. <…> The task of the center – it isn't simple to develop new technology or to improve existing, but also to approve it, to provide to the customer prototypes of the received raw materials", – is said in the message.
It is specified that polytechnicians will develop new technologies for complex processing of mineral raw materials, technogenic raw materials and industrial wastes, productions of non-ferrous, rare, precious metals, developments of fluoride technologies of rare and radioactive elements.According to the press service, as a part of the engineering center will work bureau for design of production and development of the non-standard equipment, the center of the trial equipment for operation of trial installations.
It is added that means of a federal subsidy will go for purchase of the equipment for the center, the issue with areas for new division of TPU is resolved so far. It is planned that the center will start operating until the end of 2016.
