TOMSK, Aug 16 – RIA Tomsk. Residents of the Tomsk special economic zone (SEZ) let out in the first half of the year 2016 production worth 1 billion rubles; in 10 years of existence of the SEZ this indicator exceeded 10 billion rubles, the press service of the SEZ reported on Tuesday.
It is specified that in the SEZ the preliminary results of activity of residents in the first half of the year 2016 are summed up. Residents invested 1,2 billion rubles in implementation of own projects that is 45% more, than for the similar period of the last year. In six months of this year residents created about 200 new workplaces.
"Residents actively develop projects, showing a steady growth on the main indicators, especially by quantity of new workplaces. Many companies have already started a mass production developed in the SEZ and actively master not only the Russian, but also the world market, constantly expanding geography of sales", – the CEO of the "Tomsk" SEZ management company Konstantin Kaminsky is quoted in the message.According to the press service of the SEZ, the volume of production made by residents in the first half of the year 2016 totals 1 billion rubles, and in 10 years of work – 10 billion rubles. All made production is based on own developments of residents, and sales markets of innovative production – are 158 countries of the world.
Also tax revenues in the budget increased: only in six months of 2016 residents paid 175 million rubles of taxes from which more than 60 million rubles have come to the budget of the Tomsk region. For comparison, following the results of 2014 and 2015 tax revenues made about 300 million rubles. The total amount of the taxes paid in 10 years exceeded 1,6 billion rubles.
The Tomsk SEZ, is one of five technology development zones of the Russian Federation, was officially opened on April 26, 2006. Now residents of the SEZ are more than 60 companies; their main activities – are IT and electronics, medicine and biotechnologies, nanotechnologies and new materials, resource-saving technologies.
