TOMSK, Oct 13 – RIA Tomsk. Entrants from Morocco joined ranks of the Tomsk students for the first time; the group of young people arrived to the regional center for study at Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building (TSUAB), the press service of the region administration reported on Thursday.
It is specified that TSUAB became the project participant on selection of contractual students together with Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation in 2016. TSUAB acted as the operator on selection of students for training in all Tomsk higher education institutions.
"The first acquaintance of foreign entrants to representatives of the Tomsk commission took place in August in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, in the Russian Center of Science and Culture. About 80 applications were submitted from the foreign entrants who expressed desire to graduate in TSUAB in total since the beginning of the selection campaign", – it is said in the message.According to the press service, on Thursday, October 13 young people from Morocco arrived to study in Tomsk for the first time. Entrants from Côte d'Ivoire, Haiti, Mongolia will arrive in the nearest future to the city.
"They will study on a contractual basis. All of them will undergo target training at preparatory department TSUAB: it will be special classes in Russian taking into account features of profile disciplines", – it is noted in the message.
