TOMSK, Oct 19 – RIA Tomsk. Volunteers of the youth organization of the German Federal Technical Assistance Service "THW" (The Bundesanstalt Technisches Hilfswerk) will arrive to Tomsk where will be trained at the "International security school" organized by the Tomsk rescuers, reported the press service of the MES of Russia of the Tomsk region.
It is specified that from October 19 to October 26 the German delegation will get acquainted with the work of the Tomsk rescue services and public organizations of the region.
"The delegation of 12 people (10 pupils aged from 13 up to 18 years and two adults) arrives to Tomsk on Wednesday. 10 pupils of the Tomsk military school and CYH "Cedar" also take part in the project, – is said in the message.
The Tomsk rescuers will stage for youth an educational and tactical training, demonstration exercises on the rock climbing wall, educational training in the pool, and also rafting training. Besides, volunteers will get acquainted with bases of ground navigation and learn everything about passing of a route of survival. "The round table" of the "International security school 2016" will become the final event.
Federal service of technical assistance (THW) – is the rescue service of Germany. Its experts are engaged in search of the gone people, rescue of victims of natural disasters, removal of debris after a building collapse, laying of communications in places of accidents, elimination of consequences of oil spills.
THW includes the youth organization THW-Jugend. Contains 668 offices in which more than eight thousand employees work. Besides the main work the agency is also engaged in training of future rescuers from among the German school students.
