TOMSK, Nov 10 – RIA Tomsk. Tomskneftekhim (TNH, the enterprise of SIBUR) in 2017 can begin the first in Russia production of polyethylene for a lamination of packing production, the board member and the executive director of SIBUR Sergey Komyshan told journalists on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that in September on TNH the updated production of polymers was started. Modernization began in 2014 and cost more than 10 billion rubles. In its result production of polyethylene of the low density (LDPE) on TNH will grow by 10,5% – from 240 thousand to 270 thousand tons, polypropylene – from 130 thousand to 140 thousand tons. New brands of polymers which import from abroad now will be issued.
"Effect (from modernization) also is in that we have an opportunity to make absolutely other products: both new brands of polyethylene, and new brands of polypropylene. As for polyethylene. (It is planned to release) material for a paper lamination in packing decisions for liquids. Before material was delivered on import, in Russia nobody did it", – Komyshan told.He specified that to master production of material for packings and some other brands which are now delivered to Russia from abroad, is planned in the first half of 2017.
According to him, now production on TNH came to design loadings. "We reached the annual production rate which was planned: 270 thousand tons on polyethylene, 140 thousand tons on polypropylene", – specified Komyshan.
