"We will train specialists at the junction of branches. From our side we will give medical knowledge, TUSUR – technical knowledge. We develop the program proceeding from needs of health care, need for experts", – Kobyakova told.
She specified that graduates of the master program will be able to develop and serve medical devices. Now in Russia there are no similar master programs, they are implemented only abroad. According to her, now the curriculum is developed. Studying the new program will begin in 2017.In turn the rector of TUSUR Alexander Shelupanov specified RIA Tomsk that the idea of the master program, joint with physicians, was born long ago.
"The matter is that there is today no practically field of knowledge where cross-disciplinary competences wouldn't be necessary, and it concerns medicine first of all. But the doctor without the equipment, without modern methods of treatment and researches loses a lot of things. And it is important to supervise and unite these cross-disciplinary competences", – he explained.
