TOMSK, Dec 21 – RIA Tomsk. Two developments of polytechnics – tracker of arrhythmia and 3D-Skype – became winners of the enterprise competition "10K – the Ideas for life" which took place in the Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) for the sixth time, the press service of the university reports on Thursday.
It is specified that the competition for young businessmen "10K – the Ideas for life" is held in TPU for the sixth time, it unites students and young scientists of the Tomsk universities. This year participants represented the startups in three nominations: "Business Ideas and Projects", "Innovative Projects in the IT Sphere" and "Hardware-projects". Prize fund of the competition made 300 thousand rubles.
"The first place in the "Hardware-projects" nomination was (occupied) … by the graduate student of TPU Armand Boyakhchyan with an arrhythmia tracker. The development represents two bracelets, which are put on wrists of the left and right arm. In the round-the-clock regimen the bracelets record ECG and send data to the doctor for the arrhythmia diagnostics", – it is said in the statement.
It is specified that the winners will aim the benefited money at the development of the projects. In addition, school of programming, lamp player, robot for repair of roadbed, vacuum-free method of receiving silicon carbide, amplifiers of natural electricity, eternal small lamp, energy efficient bioreactor for cultivation of microseaweed, multifunction corrector of bearing and other projects were provided at the competition.
