TOMSK, Jan 18 – RIA Tomsk. The Netherlands company VSTEP – is the developer in the field of marine modeling and virtual training of ship crews, – will supply the naval center of the United Arab Emirates with simulators of the captain's bridge based on the software platform of the Tomsk IT company UNIGINE, is reported on Thursday on the official UNIGINE page in Facebook.
Earlier it was reported that the Tomsk IT-company UNIGINE is developing 3D-visualization technologies for professional simulators for aviators, seamen and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The company developed the software platform UNIGINE 2 Sim – a new standard of visualization for professional simulators, not inferior to the games of the AAA class.
"The VSTEP company (Rotterdam) received a contract to supply full-featured captain's bridge simulators for the maritime training center in the United Arab Emirates by 2019. The simulators will use the NAUTIS 3 platform, which is based on UNIGINE 2 Sim", – is said in the report.
As it is specified on the official website of the VSTEP company, "the modeling platform NAUTIS 3, which (the company) introduces to the market, has the quality and flexibility necessary for the training needs of the most demanding customers".UNIGINE – is the international company from Tomsk, founded in 2005. The software platforms of UNIGINE 2 and UNIGINE 2 Sim are used by more than 150 corporate clients around the world.
