TOMSK, Jan 30 – RIA Tomsk. Scientists of Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Science (ISPMS) SB RAS develop styptic means with antimicrobic protection of new generation; substance similar to aloquin, the main ingredient of the known Tomsk VitaVallis nanobandage, in their basis, director of ISPMS Sergey Psakhye reported to RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported that wound healing bandages developed in ISPMS got into the markets of Russia and the abroad in 2011. They gained fame as the Tomsk nanobandage. The acting agent in the bandage is aloquin. It is as the magnet, attracts microorganisms from a wound to itself. Healing results quicker, there is almost no hem left. The bandage doesn't cause accustoming and allergy and is removed without serious consequences.
"Materials in which the acting agent is substances, similar to aloquin will be developed on a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of 26 million rubles till 2019. These are sprays, sponges, powders for a stop of capillary bleedings at wounds, injuries, surgical interventions", – Psakhye told.
According to him, there are no analogs of such materials, as well as in case with nanobandage: "Because agents, similar to aloquin, weren't applied to stop of bleedings earlier. We created aloquin in due time, now we define new applications of a similar class of substances", – the director of ISPMS noted.He specified that scientists and doctors of the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Traumatology and Ortopedics, Siberian State Medical University, Innovative medical technology center (Medical science and technology park, Novosibirsk) also participate in the project.
According to Psakhye's forecasts, new styptic materials with antimicrobic effect will be demanded, as well as VitaVallis.
Earlier it was also reported that today the Tomsk nanobandage is exported to South Africa, Vietnam, Poland, the UAE and Gulf States.
