TOMSK, Aug 6 – RIA Tomsk. The "Krasnoyarsk" pig complex, entering the JSC "Siberian Agrarian Group", sent the first shipment of by-products to Hong Kong – 24 tons, the company plans to supply 30 tons of products to China every month; also received permission on deliveries to Vietnam, is reported on the website of agroholding on Monday.
Earlier it was reported that the Tomsk agribusiness holding company "Siberian Agrarian Group" plans to start exporting of meat products to Asian countries; in 2016, the company created a department which deals with the development of this direction. Then, because of the fall in the ruble exchange rate, the price of meat in Russia become the lowest in the world and twice lower than in China.
It is specified that in order to start deliveries to Asia, the enterprise passed mandatory certification in the Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance). Permission was obtained for the export of products to Hong Kong and Vietnam.
"By-products are very much appreciated in the market of our eastern neighbors. It is the first direct supply contract concluded between us and Hong Kong partners. The first lot was 24 tons of products", – the head of the export relations department Gennady Petrovich is quoted in the message.
It is added that the agroholding intends to send monthly 30 tons of products to China in the future, and it is also planned to start deliveries to Vietnam. The company began exporting in 2016 and is already selling its products in Belarus and Mongolia.
JSC "Siberian Agrarian Group" – is a large agro-industrial holding. It includes four pig-breeding complexes in the Tomsk, Sverdlovsk regions, Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Buryatia, poultry farm in the Tomsk region, meat processing plants in the Tomsk and Kemerovo regions, feed mill in Asino, farmland in the Tyumen region.
