TOMSK, Nov 6 – RIA Tomsk. Winners of the branch Olympiad of PJSC Gazprom for school students will get additional points entering Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) and the right to have a training at the company, the press service of the university reports on Tuesday.
"TPU will hold Olympiad of Gazprom for school pupils and students. Winners of the branch Olympiad for school students will get additional points entering TPU, valuable prizes and an opportunity to have a training at the company. And winners of the student's Olympiad will be able to participate in a competition on vacant positions on practical training in subsidiaries of PJSC Gazprom", – it is said in the statement.
It is specified that the branch Olympiad of Gazprom for school students are held on five profiles: mathematics, physics, chemistry, information and communication technologies and economy. It will pass in two stages. The selection stage passes online on the Olympiad website, it is possible to be registered together with the solving the problems of the first stage till January 10, 2019.
School students of 9 – 11 classes will solve tasks of the selection stage of the Olympiad of "Gazprom" in playful way. So, participants of the Olympiad on the "Information and Communication Technologies" profile will solve tasks within a computer game "Agents of the future", it is noted in the message.
Absolute winners in each subject will be invited to St. Petersburg for rewarding with special prizes and gifts from Gazprom. Winners and prize-winners will be able to apply for additional points on account of individual achievements entering Tomsk Polytechnic University and other basic university of Gazprom, is emphasized in the message.Also it is reported that the Olympiad for students will take place on ten profiles, from chemical technologies of oil and gas business to ocean engineering and power industry. The Olympiad tasks are developed on the basis of the real problems facing specialists of Gazprom. The selection stage of the Olympiad will pass from December to March. The final stage – in April, 2019.
