TOMSK, Dec 21 – RIA Tomsk. The export of industrial goods and services from the Tomsk region from 2019 to 2024 should grow as a result of the implementation of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" up to 288 million US dollars; the largest investment from the budget of the Russian Federation and the largest increase from – 115 to 200 million dollars – is expected in the timber industry complex (TIC) of the region, the press service of the regional administration reported on Friday.
Earlier it was reported that at the initiative of the President Vladimir Putin until 2024 in the Russian Federation will be implemented national projects in 12 directions: demography, health care, education, housing and urban environment, ecology, safe and high-quality roads, productivity and employment support, science, digital economy, culture, small and medium enterprises, international cooperation and export.
According to the press service, within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" the Tomsk region plans to attract more than 13 billion rubles from the federal budget from 2019 to 2024, most of which will be aimed at the development of the infrastructure of the export-oriented timber industry.
"The result of the implementation of the presidential national project <...> in the Tomsk region should be an increase in the volume of exports in the timber industry complex from 115.4 to 200 million US dollars by the end of 2024, in the manufacturing industry – from 52.4 to 88.3 million US dollars", – is said in the statement.
It is added that the volume of exports of agricultural products from the Tomsk region by the end of 2024 should reach 58.77 million dollars. Within the framework of the national project, the region expects to receive support of a number of investment projects on the production of products that are in high demand in foreign markets. These include the construction of plants for the processing of rapeseed, products of deep processing of grain and compound feed.
"The total amount of investments on the project of exports developing of the agro-industrial complex in the Tomsk region from 2019 to 2024 is provided in the amount of 23.8 billion rubles. Most of it – more than 17 billion rubles – will be funds of investors. 6.7 billion rubles will be raised from the federal budget, 110.7 million rubles – send from the regional budget", – the press service reported.
Earlier it was also reported that into the draft budget of the Tomsk region for 2019 is factored federal funding for national projects in the amount of 5.2 billion rubles, which constitutes the majority of targeted intergovernmental transfers.
