Medical ice cream
Tomsk bio ice cream "Desant Zdorovia" ("Health Landing") – the first ice cream, which is recommended even for children as a preventive diet (normalizes the composition of the intestinal microflora).
Employee of Mental Health Research Institute Evgeny Gutkevich invented it back in the mid-1990s. Reflecting on how to increase the efficiency of beneficial bifidobacteria (in kefir and yogurt most of them "died" even on the shelves of stores), he came to the idea – it is necessary to freeze them!
Only in recent years, the project began to actively develop: the All-Russian sales network was built (most often the product can be found in pharmacies), there are constantly novelties. So, in 2018, on the market appeared pistachio-hemp bio ice cream (with powder of cleaned hemp seeds – a complete replacement of animal protein), as well as with collagen and addition of a flax.
Household chemicals
In December 2018, a line of "Smart Clean-H" products for cleaning of bathtubs, acrylic surfaces, toilets, showers, plumbing, washing machines and household appliances appeared on the shelves of 35 Tomsk chain supermarkets. There is also a universal remedy against rust and scale, it is on sale for a year.
The employees of the Laboratory for Organic Synthesis of Tomsk State University (TSU) were engaged in the development of this line of cleaning products, and Engineering Chemical Technological Center (ECTC) together with the "Novochem" company scaled the production.
Antimicrobial cream with nano-silver
The silver-containing "Argocrem", in the creation of which chemists of Tomsk Polytechnic University participated, cannot be found in free sale in Tomsk, it is available only in some pharmacies of Novosibirsk (production is located in the science city of Koltsovo), but it can be ordered online.
The manual said that "highly dispersed silver has antimicrobial properties against pathogenic microorganisms, even resistant to antibiotics". It is used for the prevention and treatment of various skin lesions and inflammations; it can also help against trophic ulcers, burns, dermatoses, psoriasis and other problems.
Bicycles alarm system

The BIKEDEFEND system – is a small box 15x3x1.5 centimeters – consists of a standard motion sensor, GSM module, GPS tracker and SIM card. The device is synchronized with the mobile application. If the bike is attempted to be hijacked, the motion sensor is triggered, signal goes to the host mobile phone. If the theft is successful, the system allows to track the bike: the alarm system is synchronized with Yandex Maps, location is determined both through GPS and GLONASS navigation systems, and when communicating with mobile towers.
Cosmetic cream with xenon
In cosmetology clinics of Tomsk it is possible to buy xenon cream under the ALEEXE brand name, an order is also available via the Internet.Creams are made on the basis of the technology developed in the TSU Laboratory for Biochemistry of Transport Systems: the scientists came up with a transdermal method of biologically active substances delivering into the body using an inert gas – xenon. Thanks to it various active ingredients (vitamins, peptides, natural extracts) are absorbed by the epidermis and delivered to the skin much faster, creating a high local concentration.

Kinetic plasticine
Tomsk Zephyr – is a plasticine of a new generation, which combines the properties of different materials for modeling: it "spreads" like kinetic sand, keeps its shape like plasticine, and is baked like polymer clay. The product is intended for children, though, after all, adults are also not averse to relax with viscous pleasant material.
The plasticine was developed by chemical technologists of the DI-Group holding, which was once Tomsk, and now is international. There are no analogues to this plasticine in the world, therefore now Zephyr enters the markets of America, Canada, China, the CIS countries.
