The "Sibirskiy Znakhar" ("Siberian Sorcerer") Tomsk company sent the first batch of its products to New York; cone jam, natural chocolate with Siberian berries, cream honey and rosebay willowherb tea will appear in American stores, the co-founder of the company Artem Fisher told Tomsk.
"We sent the first large order to New York, worth about 150 thousand rubles. For test sales the partner took the whole line of the "Sibirskiy Znakhar" – cone jam, natural chocolate with Siberian berries, cream-honey, rosebay willowherb tea. On the shelves of shops in New York they will appear in about two months, when the cargo arrives and goes through all the formal procedures", – Fisher said.
According to him, residents of Tomsk found a partner for work in the United States at the PRODEXPO-2019 exhibition held in February in Moscow:
"This is a distributor who deals with food in the US, so it became interested in us. If the demand is good, the supply will, of course, be different. We consider the US market to be promising: one of the main ills in the country – is obesity, but people finally began to think what they eat and there is a big interest in natural products".
The interlocutor added that now about 10% of the products of the "Sibirskiy Znakhar" are exported, it is sold in 10 countries – Kazakhstan, China, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, France, the Czech Republic, Australia, Japan. In Russia the Tomsk brand is represented in 150 cities.
