TOMSK, Jun 13 - RIA Tomsk. The official events of the Architectural Forum will start on Thursday in Tomsk; about 350 industry experts will take part in the Council of Chief Architects of Russia and the festival "Architecture of Siberia", the representative of the press service of the regional administration reported RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported that from June 12 to 15, Tomsk hosts the Architectural Forum, which united the Council of Chief Architects of the Russian Federation and the interregional festival "Architecture in Siberia". The participants of the events - are architects and experts from 60 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as European countries. Among other things, it is planned to discuss how to combine the preservation of the historical heritage of Tomsk with the creation of a modern campus for students in the city.
"The total number of forum participants - is about 350 people. Most of them - are guests from other regions and countries. In particular, the President of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences Alexander Kuzmin arrived in Tomsk on the eve", - the interlocutor of the agency told.
According to the press service, the Architectural Forum will begin on Thursday at 10:00 am from the meeting of the Council of Chief Architects of the Russian Federation, where, in particular, the Tomsk region will sign cooperation agreements with the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, as well as with Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building. Also on Thursday in the afternoon the festival "Architecture of Siberia" will open.
On Friday there will be an award ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian competition "Housing and Urban Environment - Best Practices," and experts will continue to discuss topical issues for the urban planning industry.
