TOMSK, Jul 30 – RIA Tomsk. Salvador Dali's exhibition "Surrealism – is Me" will open at the Tomsk regional art museum on August 1; visitors will see more than 100 original graphic paintings, including in a multimedia format, two glass sculptures and photographs of the master of surrealism, the representative of the museum reported RIA Tomsk on Tuesday.
According to her, Salvador Dali's exhibition "Surrealism – is Me" will be held at the regional art museum (Nakhanovich lane, 3) from August 1 to October 6. Its organizer – is the St. Petersburg gallery of modern art PS Gallery.
"Some of Dali's paintings will be displayed on the wall with the help of a projector to music, in showroom will be presented graphic works, for example, "Solomon's Song of Songs", "Memories of Casanova", "Faust", "La Fontaine's Bestiary". In total, museum visitors will be able to see more than 100 works of Salvador Dali, as well as the original photographs of the artist", – the interlocutor of the agency told.
She specified that also at the exhibition will be presented two glass sculptures of the master – "Malebranche Fish" and "Hysterical Venus de Milo". Also, viewers can take a selfie on the famous sofa in the shape of lips.
"A few years ago the exhibition of graphic works of Salvador Dali was already held in Tomsk, and since then the gallery owner complemented its collection with new works", – the museum employee added.
Salvador Dali – is the famous Spanish artist of the XX century. He was one of the most famous representatives of surrealism, also known as a sculptor, director and writer.
