A piece of fabric, which was used to wipe the Hair of the Prophet Muhammad twice , was transferred to the Tomsk White Cathedral Mosque for storage; it will be displayed on Friday, November 15 for the first time, the head of the regional spiritual administration of Muslims Nurullah Haji (Tursunbayev) told RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported that in September sacred relics of Muslims, among which were the Hair of the Prophet Muhammad, his cup, the jug of his daughter, the key to the Kaaba sacred stone and others were exhibited in Tomsk for the first time on the territory of the Siberian federal district.
"The White Cathedral Mosque was handed over a piece of fabric, which was used twice to wipe a sacred relic – the Hair of the Prophet Muhammad. Now this piece of fabric will be stored in the Tomsk mosque. At present, there are no such values in Siberia and the Far East. For the first time the piece of fabric will be put on review of citizens this Friday, November 15. The removal will be timed to the birthday of the Prophet", – the spokesman of the agency said.
He explained that no decision had yet been made on how often the value would be displayed.
