TOMSK, Mar 17 – RIA Tomsk. Sibirskaya Oliva (Siberian Olive) company (part of the Sibirskiy Premier (Siberian Premier) agricultural holding) will build the second building of a rapeseed oil plant in Tomsk district in 2020, which will double production volumes, the district administration head Alexander Tereshchenko said in an interview with RIA Tomsk.
It was previously reported that the first phase of the Sibirskaya Oliva (Siberian Olive) rapeseed processing plant was launched in the Tomsk village of Svetliy in January 2019. Investments in production amounted to more than 1 billion rubles. In early November, the second phase of the plant was launched (investment volume of 1.2 billion rubles). As a result, rapeseed processing volume at the plant amounted to 60 thousand tons per year.
"Recently I met with the head of the enterprise - there is an intention to expand another stage and double production ... The construction of a new plant building is planned for 2020. I think this year we will be able to see another plant standing near the first one", - Tereshchenko said.
According to Tereshchenko, the launch of additional production at Sibirskaya Oliva (Siberian Olive) will require an increase in the cultivated area occupied by rapeseed. According to the head of the Tomsk district, the solution of this problem, among other things, will accelerate the pace of return to agricultural circulation of abandoned agricultural land.
Earlier it was also reported that the main market for Sibirskaya Oliva (Siberian Olive) for the sale of rapeseed oil is the PRC market, since Russia has not developed a culture of its consumption. Over 1.2 thousand tons of products have already been shipped to China. Oilcake is used as a feed additive at the Mezheninovskaya Poultry Farm.
According to the "SPARK-Interfax" analytical system, Sibirskiy Premier (Siberian Premier) agricultural holding LLC was registered in Novosibirsk in 2013. As specified on the website of the agricultural holding, in addition to the Tomsk poultry farm and the Mezheninovskoye agricultural production cooperative, it also includes the Evsinskya poultry farm, Lebedevskaya agricultural firm and other agricultural enterprises of the Siberian Federal District. The holding operates on the principle of vertically integrated production "From field to shelf".
