TOMSK, Jul 20 – RIA Tomsk. Russian Railways will resume the movement of trains No. 37/38 in the Tomsk-Moscow direction from July 24, is reported on the website of the Russian Railways.
Earlier it was reported that since April 16, due to the coronavirus pandemic and a decrease in passenger traffic, the movement of trains No. 37/38 (named trains "Tomich" running from the capital to Tomsk and back) has been suspended.
"The running (of trains) is resumed, departing from Tomsk from July 24 on even numbers, from Moscow from July 26 on even numbers", – the website says.
It was also reported that from July 1, train traffic on the Tomsk – Anapa – Tomsk route resumed. According to the carrier, traffic is resuming due to the gradual removal of restrictive measures in the regions. All the wagons on which the transportation will be carried out will be disinfected four times a day. The air in the cars will be disinfected using ultraviolet lamps.
