TOMSK, Nov 24 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University (TSU) launched a series of popular science lectures “Pump up the Neuron” ("Качай нейрон") on Yandex Music service, thereby expanding this project for an all-Russian audience, the curator of the project Polina Smirnova told RIA Tomsk on Tuesday.
Earlier it was reported that in February 2020, the online project "Pump up the Neuron" was launched at TSU. Within its framework, university scientists speak on various topics related to science, from the creation of a lightsaber to the culture of scientific research in other countries. Podcast genres - are interviews, conversations, lectures.
“The project sites are social networks and the university website. Since spring, podcasts have been available on Yandex Music. And now we have launched lectures as a separate podcast on this service.
She added that currently 40 popular science podcasts from TSU are posted on the service.
"The topics are very diverse. For example, how to read books correctly, robotics, the digital economy, the future of education - about such topics we will have our next podcasts in Yandex Music", - the agency's interlocutor summed up.
