TOMSK, Jul 6 – RIA Tomsk. The Tomsk region will receive 18 billion rubles from the Russian budget by 2024 to build an inter-university campus within the framework of the national project "Education," Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Tuesday during a visit to Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported that the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin is visiting Tomsk on Tuesday. Along with the Prime Minister of Russia in Tomsk on Tuesday are Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maksim Reshetnikov, Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov and Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov.
"All necessary resources (for the construction of the campus - Ed.) are provided. We discussed this with Siluanov. We have provided for all the necessary funds. That's 18 billion by 2024 - from the federal budget. A total of 31 billion will be required," Mishustin said.
In response to Mishustin's words, Rector of Tomsk State University (TSU) Eduard Galazhinsky offered him to sign on the "nanobrick" printed on a 3D printer. This brick will then be laid in the foundation of the construction.
For reference: Tomsk budget for 2021 is 19 billion rubles.
