TOMSK, Dec 7 – RIA Tomsk. Sibirsky Kedr ("Siberian Cedar") company took the second place in the all-Russian award Exporter of the Year in the nomination Exporter of the Year in Agroindustrial Complex; Rubius company took the third place in the nomination Exporter of the Year in Services, the press service of the regional administration reported on Tuesday.
Earlier it was reported that Rubius won in two nominations in the Siberian Federal District (SFD): Exporter of the Year in Services and Breakthrough of the Year according to the results of 2020. Sibirsky Kedr ("Siberian Cedar") was the SFD's Agribusiness Exporter of the Year.
"Sibirsky Kedr ("Siberian Cedar") company took the second place in the nomination Exporter of the year in the sphere of agro-industrial complex in the category Small and medium entrepreneurship, Rubius company – the third place in the nomination Exporter of the year in services in the category Small and medium entrepreneurship", – said the report.
It is specified that the winners will be awarded in the World Trade Center in Moscow on December 10.
It was also reported earlier that the number of exporting companies in the Tomsk region has doubled in five years (the exact number was not mentioned). The main exporters in the region's non-resource sector are representatives of the IT-sector, the communications industry and deep processing of raw materials. The number of small and medium-sized exporting companies in the Tomsk region increased by 12% in 2020 and reached 406.
The Exporter of the Year competition is held by the Russian Export Centre for large companies, individual entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized businesses that have achieved success in exporting non-resource non-energy goods, works, services and results in intellectual activity.
