TOMSK, Sep 9 – RIA Tomsk. Two innovative companies which intend to develop elements for pacemakers and implants with a modified surface became a part of residents of the Tomsk special economic zone (SEZ), the press service of SEZ reported on Wednesday.
"Following the results of advisory council, applications of two companies for obtaining the status of the resident of SEZ "Tomsk" are approved. Three acting residents submitted the application for revision of business plans, having increased scales of the projects", – it is told in the message.
It is noted that taking into account the new companies the number of residents of SEZ "Tomsk" will increase to 64.
Newcomers
It is specified that JSC MedAzimut was included into SEZ with the project of development of epicardial electrodes – parts of electropacemakers intended for transfer of the stimulating impulse to heart and back (for control of patients' health after surgery). The volume of the investments is 5 million rubles; the company intends to launch production of 25 thousand electrodes a year in five years.
JSC Research and Production SINTEL Company develops a special covering for implants and technology of its drawing, thus implants will possess antimicrobic properties. They can be used at treatment of circumarticular fractures of tubular bones – for example, a humeral bone. The company intends to occupy 5% of the Russian Federation market in five years.

According to the press service, the resident of ЫEZ "Submicronic Technologies" (subsidiary of JSC NPF Mikran) is engaged in development and production of the microwave oven of monolithic and hybrid integrated schemes. The advisory council approved increase in investments by the company for 937 million rubles (initially – 438 million rubles) and construction of a factory on a site of four hectares on the Southern platform of SEZ.
JSC EleTim performed more than 100 scientific works on development and production of industrial systems of automation and power supplies for technology of microarc oxygenating during the years of work in SEZ. The company intends to increase investments by 678 million rubles (initially – 354 million) and to open own production.
The third resident who decided to expand the activity – JSC NIITEK TPU-Bureniye. It is engaged in development and production of a heavy-duty facilitated grouting material for cementation of upsetting columns of the oil and gas wells complicated by availability of layers with the low pressure of hydraulic fracturing. The company built own building and started production on the Northern platform of SEZ.
"The Investments for the project made 135,64 million rubles. <…> In the new business plan the company corrects the volume of the declared investments, increasing them by 115 million rubles, and declares construction of administrative industrial complex of two thousand square meters on the Southern platform of SEZ", – is added in the message.
