TOMSK, Apr 14 – RIA Tomsk. The universities of
near abroad and Russia – Moscow State University (MSU), St-Petersburg State
University of Economics (SPbSUE) and Tomsk State University (TSU), signed the
memorandum on the Eurasian Network University (ENU) establishment, which is to
concern the Eurasian integration, the press-service of TSU reports.
It is specified that signing of the memorandum on the establishment of
ENU has taken place on April, 12th in MSU. The initiators of its creation
became TSU, MSU and SPbSUE, they have also elaborated a model of ENU development.
Signing has taken place at a meeting of representatives of leading universities
of member-states of the Euroasian Economic Union (EEU) – Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Armenia.
"The memorandum – is an important step on strengthening of the general
scientific and educational space of the countries of the Euroasian Economic
Union. Development of economy of the EEU countries demands a large number of
the experts who are deeply understand culture, economy and specifics of state
legal grounds of the participating countries of the union. The network master
program "Euroasian Researches" can become the first step on this way,
– are quoted in the message the rector of TSU Eduard Galazhinsky.

As the associate professor of World Politics Department of History
Faculty of TSU Sergey Miroshnikov has told RIA Tomsk, the ENU project has been
supported by the Ministry of Education of Russia. The meaning of the creation
of ENU – first of all, is in creation of conditions for training of the experts
necessary for the Eurasian integration.
"Integration processes – are specific, they demand the people
prepared in various spheres, who will know economy, culture of all countries
and processes which unite them. <…> The first master program with
universities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Armenia will work in the
fall of 2016", – he has noted.
According to Miroshnikov, the master program is already developed and
has passed coordination between TSU, universities of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Its statement proceeds now. "I suspect, in May, on the birthday of TSU,
rectors of universities will arrive to Tomsk, where the act of starting of this
dual degree program will be signed", – Miroshnikov has added.
