TOMSK, May
12 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State and Tomsk Polytechnic Universities (TSU and TPU),
and also Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR)
will jointly teach robotics, combining the strengths of three universities, the
rector of TPU Pyotr Chubik told
journalists on Thursday.
The
corresponding agreement was signed by rectors of TPU, TSU and TUSUR - Pyotr
Chubik, Eduard Galazhinsky, Alexander Shelupanov within the third youth forum
U-NOVUS in Tomsk on Thursday.
"We
raise the level of specialists training due to association of efforts in one
sphere. Each university provides the part at the highest level in what it is
the best. It concerns personnel, equipment. As a result we will gain synergetic
effect and the coolest experts in the country capable to make breaks in the
field of robotics", - Chubik told.

He
specified that the master program is designed on two years. It consists of five
modules: TPU and TUSUR develop 1,5 blocks, TSU – one, and one more block is
joint. "Everyone will undertake that part of the program which is capable
to be made better than others", - Chubik emphasized.
According
to his data, masters of all three universities
will be able to take part in the program, but upon termination of each
of them will gain only the diploma of their university.
The third
forum of young scientists U-NOVUS takes place in Tomsk on May 12-13, 2016 and
is devoted to robotics subject. Among the planned events of the forum there are
an opening of the Siberian center of robotics, a national stage of the
international competitions in robotics of RoboCup Russia Open 2016 and the
All-Russian Science Game.
