TOMSK, Jul 20 – RIA Tomsk. The
Siberian academic week will pass in Tomsk in September; the best young scientists
from all country will develop projects in the sphere of alternative power
engineering and "green" technologies, the press service of Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) reported.
"The best young scientists of
the country will come to Tomsk from September 3 to September 7 forthe Siberian
academic week during the International forum on resource efficiency. Its
organizers are TPU and the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) <…>. The
Siberian academic week is absolutely new format of association of outstanding
young scientists from all country in interdisciplinary teams", – it is
said in the message.
It is specified that young
scientists should create unique projects in the field of "green"
power, robotics and artificial intelligence, rational use of natural resources,
new urbanism and other breakthrough directions.

"We form unique community of
the young scientists, dreamers, creators capable to solve global problems of
the planetary importance <…>. Our purpose is to find the most talented,
perspective and keen youth which is actively engaged in science and to create
outstanding teams which will be able to change our world to the best already
tomorrow" – the rector of TPU Petr Chubik is quoted in the message.
It is noted that students,
undergraduates, graduate students, young scientists of higher education
institutions and academic institutes who are actively conducting research
activity can participate in the competition on participation in the Siberian
academic week. Fifty finalists will be united in five thematic teams.
It is added that science teams will
create the research projects, based on breakthrough ideas, young scientists
will have an opportunity to work under the leadership of the leading scientists
and academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Young scientists will be
able to realize the projects in TPU.
