Tomsk. The international conference
"The Siberian Days of Cosmology – 2016" where scientists will discuss
questions of cosmology, astrophysics and physics of black holes and stars, will
open on Monday at Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR), the press service of the university reported.
"(From Monday through Wednesday) on August 8-10
at TUSUR will take place the international conference "The Siberian Days
of Cosmology – 2016". Among conferees – are scientists from Japan, Italy,
Portugal, Spain, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Egypt and India which to discuss
modern fundamental aspects of cosmology, astrophysics and physics of black
holes and stars", – is said in the message.

According to the university, the reports connected
with studying of black holes, dark matter, various type of stars and on other
subjects will be submitted. Two plenary sessions and a round table are
provided. Conference will open at 08:30 on Monday in the House of scientists.
It is noted that the conference is being held at the
initiative of the TUSUR International Laboratory for Theoretical Cosmology
operating since 2015 under the direction of Sergei Odintsov (at the same time
works in Spain). The laboratory where the leading foreign scientists in the
field of physics, mathematics and cosmology work, is engaged in studying of
evolution of the Universe, including within the frameworks of dark energy and
dark matter models.
"All scientific activity of TUSUR from first days
of foundation was devoted to the solution <…> of tasks in the field of
space instrument making, space exploration. <…> Theoretical cosmology
just deals with issues of research of distant space. And at TUSUR there are
good bases to be engaged in this perspective", – the press service quotes
the rector of the university Alexander Shelupanov.
