TOMSK, Oct 25 – RIA Tomsk. The museum of science
and technology for which it is planned to construct the building within the
"Tomsk Embankments" project, opens in the same building as the
children's Technopark "Kvantorium", reported the first deputy chief
of the regional finance department of the Tomsk region Vera Pliyeva on Tuesday.
Earlier it was reported that within the "Tomsk Embankments"
project on the bank of Tom the Museum of science and technology will be opened.
The international architectural competition of projects of the building of the
museum was won by the St. Petersburg company "Studio 44". The museum
will be focused on different age groups and besides exposition halls will
include six open operating laboratories of six Tomsk higher education
institutions.
"(Museum) will be in the same building where the children's science
and technology park "Kvantorium" will be placed, – Pliyeva told.
Earlier it was reported that the science and technology park is created in the
building on Lenin Avenue, 26.
According to the regional administration, the museum will open only
after start of science and technology park which is planned for the end of
2016. As the speaker of regional Duma Oksana Kozlovskaya explained RIA Tomsk,
the region will direct to equipment of the museum 95 million rubles received
from the federal budget at the expense of the means saved in last years.
"Money was allocated from the federal budget for the Museum of
science and technology in due time. The building has to be near the "Tomsk
embankments". Considering that it demands large sums from the regional
budget, was made the decision these to direct 95 million to equipment", –
Kozlovskaya told.
Earlier it was reported that until the end of the year in Tomsk the
science and technology park will open – the complex of laboratories and
workshops where children study, realize the projects and prepare for
competitions. There will be eight directions, including space and
biotechnologies. The agreement which has allowed to create science and technology
park, the governor Sergey Zhvachkin and the head of the Agency for Strategic
Initiatives Andrey Nikitin signed in the summer of 2016.
