TOMSK, Dec 12 – RIA Tomsk, Karina Sapunova. Scientists of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) developed system,
which is capable to find appeals to illegal activities on social networks,
including extremism and terrorism; it is planned to be implemented in the
countries of Asia in 2017, the vice rector of the uiversity Roman Meshcheryakov
reported.
According to him, the center of safety in information and telecommunication
space was created in the university in 2016. The technologies, developed in the
center, allow to reveal messages in the Internet, containing appeals to illegal
activity, and attempts of the criminal organizations to enlist Internet users.
Unlike the majority of analogs, the development of the TUSUR scientists works
not only in Russian, but also in other languages.
"Now we work in the pilot mode (in the countries of Asia). Within the
next year we plan that the system will work. We have coordinated these works.
It is necessary to create groups for introduction, which will work from a
certain country – our part is technical, and they (groups) should define where
it is radical Islamism where it is not", – Meshcheryakov told.

According to his data, the agreement on work in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan,
Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan is already reached. "First of all we are
focused on social networks", – he explained, having added that the project
also works in the pilot mode in Russia.
Meshcheryakov specified that the algorithm, which analyzes text, images and
sequence of submission of information and allocates "signs of the
destabilizing factors" in content, is at the heart of the development. It
helps to reveal the person, who is tried to be enlisted before he got under
influence of a criminal group.
