TSU collects offers on new state project for Ministry of Education

TOMSK, Dec 16 – RIA Tomsk, Karina Sapunova. Tomsk State University (TSU) become operator on collection of project proposals for "Universities as the centers of space of innovations creation" which is planned to be realized in Russia since 2017, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Lyudmila Ogorodova reported on Friday.

As it is explained in TSU, it is about the priority national project "Universities as the centers of space of innovations creation" which start is planned for 2017. The idea of the project consists in creation of 100 innovative centers based on universities by 2025 which will promote development of the regions. On Friday the first meeting devoted to the project took place in TSU.

"Importance of such sessions, meetings is even not in our wish to finish the day with the new working model. We discussed the new project and understood who has ideas and potential. <…> It is necessary to be defined by March 1 what will be model (implementation of the priority project), or it will be a few of them", – Ogorodova told.

She noted that representatives of higher education institutions should prepare as much as possible offers as part of them can be rejected by the ministry. The special working group which will work with the arriving offers is created in the Ministry of Education and Science for development and start of the new project.

"We asked TSU to carry out organizational and technical work: collection of information, delivery of information, bringing you to a single information platform. Also we ask you to start to do this work", – the Deputy Minister noted.

In turn the rector of TSU Eduard Galazhinsky explained RIA Tomsk that the higher education institution following the results of the Friday meeting shall prepare and systematize offers then send them to all participants for adjustment and addition, and the final version of offers for the national project will be transferred to the Ministry of Education and Science until the end of the year. He specified that TSU is responsible for the block which concerns work of higher education institutions in innovative, technological and social spheres.
