Information Satellite Systems (ISS) together with scientists of two Tomsk
higher education institutions developed the new equipment by request of Roskosmos,
which will allow to find the hidden defects in spacecrafts, it is reported on
Tuesday on the website of the company.
"Within developmental work
"Cantat" specialists of the Reshetnev company together with
scientists of Tomsk Polytechnic University, Tomsk State University and ICM SB
RAS (Krasnoyarsk city) developed, made and tested the new equipment for
detection of the latent defects of onboard devices of satellites", – it is
said in the message.
It is noted that the automated technologies of
nondestructive control created by the Siberian scientists allow to increase
repeatedly accuracy and to reduce time of carrying out researches of internal
structure of materials and products of space application.
It is added that the results of research and
experimental works are handed over to the customer now – Roscosmos State
Corporation.
