TOMSK, Jan 30 – RIA Tomsk,
Aleksandra Astafyeva. Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU)
and Kaspersky Lab plan to open in the university a new discipline
"Industrial information security" which can become later the separate
direction of study, the deputy chief of educational and methodical department
of TPU Institute of Cybernetics Anna Rusanova reported RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported that in 2016 in Tomsk the
first IT class on the basis of TPU lyceum was opened. The large information
companies – Kaspersky Lab, Mail.ru Group and KUKA Robotics – provide training
materials for lyceum students and give lectures.
"We have already "information security"
which is conducted within some directions, but there is a speech about
information security at the enterprises in general. And industrial safety is,
for example, for the enterprises of a defensive and technical complex: about
robotics and mechatronics where data protection in the sphere of realization of
mechatronic devices and so on is very important", – Rusanova told.
