Tomsk. Tomsk region was highly appreciated by the federal
authority in realization of the state national policy, the Deputy Chief of
Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov told
journalists on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, April 25, a the two-day seminar meeting
"On practice and tasks of executive authorities of constituent entities of
the Russian Federation on the implementation of the national state policy for
the period till 2025" opened in Tomsk. Among participants – there are vice
governors, heads of executive authorities of regions of Siberia supervising the
national policy.
"What becomes in the Tomsk region finds a
positive assessment. First of all, we judge by how people treat it: about 88%
of residents of Tomsk consider relations between people of different
nationalities and religion to be benevolent. It is a good indicator, it's
higher, than about the country in general. This is the result of systematic
correct work of the leaders of the region, collaboration with municipalities
and institutes of civil society", – Magomedov told.
He reminded journalists that in 2012 at the federal
level the strategy of the state national policy was accepted, and since 2016
the appropriate state program with the amount of financing in 26 billion rubles
is implemented. Now in Russia the system of international relations monitoring
is created.
"And it is done in the Tomsk region. The Federal
Agency for Ethnic Affairs will realize it in all regions. Through this system
we will see where and what problem is the acute. That is we have to see the
picture in each area, then we will know what needs to be done on places. Once
again I will emphasize that in this regard the Tomsk region goes among
leaders", – Magomedov told.
As the acting the governor of the Tomsk region Sergey
Zhvachkin commented in turn, in the region there live representatives of 140
nationalities.
"On the one hand, all results of polls of
residents of Tomsk show that they consider our international relations
peaceful. On the other hand, we have 140 nationalities, students from 60
countries of the world. Therefore we have to periodically return to this
subject. The most important thing – that all of us should understood
since the childhood that we are the same people", – the head of the region
told.
