TOMSK, May 11 – RIA Tomsk. Organizers expect that more than 2,000 people
will take part in the forum of young scientists U-NOVUS, which will be held in
Tomsk in May, the program director of the forum Veniamin Kizeev told
journalists on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that
the fourth forum of young scientists U-NOVUS will be held in Tomsk from May 17
to May 19, 2017. Its subject will be talents and perspective technologies. One
of the forum's events will be the Russian stage of the world's most
authoritative robotics championship RoboCup Russia Open - 2017.
As the deputy governor of the
Tomsk region on the scientific and educational complex and innovative policy
Mikhail Sonkin told journalists at the press conference in the RIA Tomsk media
center, for now 1.2 thousand people registered for the forum.

"About 40% from them -
are nonresident participants. As a rule, the last days of registration are the
most fruitful. For yesterday, for example, 350 people registered.The
registration is closed tomorrow (Friday). We expect more than two thousand
people", - Kizeev commented at the press conference.
He added that it is about
participants of the official program.
Earlier it was also reported
that within the framework of the forum will be held the All-Russian competition
and exhibition "Perspective Technologies through the Eyes of Young
Scientists", meetings of the working groups of the markets of the National
Technological Initiative, "Project Management in Health Care"
conference, opening of the children's technopark and space lessons with the ISS
crew. Also will be held the final of the All-Russian Science Game, Science Slam
and "Night of Science".
