The Tomsk U-NOVUS forum became the federal platform

TOMSK, May 11 – RIA Tomsk. The co-organizers of the U-NOVUS forum became the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in the Sphere of Science and Education; thus, the forum became the federal platform, the program director of the forum Veniamin Kizeev told reporters on Thursday.

Earlier it was reported that the fourth forum of young scientists U-NOVUS will be held in Tomsk from May 17 to May 19, 2017. Its subject will be talents and perspective technologies. One of the forum's events will be the Russian stage of the world's most authoritative robotics championship RoboCup Russia Open - 2017.

"The forum is held for the fourth time, and every year we note something new.This year we become the federal platform due to the fact that we have a federal agenda and federal co-organizers", - said Kizeev at the press conference in RIA Tomsk.

Foreigners for the first time to participate in the Tomsk Science Game

As the deputy governor of the Tomsk region on the scientific and educational complex and innovative policy Mikhail Sonkin specified at the press conference, participants of the forum will discuss promotion of hi-tech projects in Russia's strategically important sectors of the economy and focusing of the potential of talented young people to create and develop promising technologies.

According to the press service of the regional administration, within the framework of the forum there will be held federal events: the plenary session "Big Challenges of the Strategy of Scientific and Technological Development - Challenges for Science and Young Scientists", scientific and technological project session on the formation of tools for the implementation of the National Technological Initiative goals, meeting of the MariNet working group.
