TOMSK, May 25 – RIA Tomsk. The group of companies Tomsk Instrument signed a
contract with the Sukhoi aircraft-building company for the delivery of cutting
tool worth 59.8 million rubles, this is the largest contract of the enterprise
since the reorganization in 2013, the director of LLC Tomsk Instrument Plant
entering group of companies Sergey Shvartsev reported RIA Tomsk.
According to federal media, in 2013 Tomsk Instrument was reorganized.
The plant has a new shareholder, the owner of the retail network Instrument-Market
Valentin Karpov, who redeemed the Tomsk Instrument with a 300 million debt to
Sberbank, which allowed to save production.
"This is the largest contract for the supply of cutting tools after
the reorganization. But it's not unique ... There were contracts with similar
sums, still with Sukhoi", – said Shvartsev, specified that the contract
price – 59.8 million rubles.

According to the director of Tomsk Instrument Plant, cooperation with
aircraft builders - is the strategic direction for the Tomsk Instrument.
For today in Russia there is only one aircraft building company that does not
purchase cutting tool in Tomsk. The director did not specify the name of the
company.
"Since the 70s (of the last century - Ed.), Tomsk Instrument Plant
was oriented on cooperation with aircraft builders. And since that time we
support this direction, we supply the tool to aircraft building companies. In
our portfolio there are almost all aircraft manufacturing plants of the
country, and the share of aircraft industry in total output (of cutting tools
production – Ed.) makes at least 50% of all supplies", – said Shvartsev.
LLC Tomsk Instrument Plant and LLC Tomsk Instrument Trade Enterprise are
included into the Tomsk Instrument group of companies. They are engaged in production
of metal- and woodworking tools (drills, milling cutters, taps, prefabricated
tools) for various industries. Today the largest buyers of the Tomsk Instrument
production are the concerns Sukhoi, Aviastar-SP, Irkut corporation, Rostvertol
and AAC Progress.
