TOMSK, Jun 13 – RIA Tomsk. Athletes from 22 countries will participate in the international rafting forum "White Water of Siberia", which will be held in August in the Tomsk region; rafters from the Kopylovo club "Odyssey" will share secrets of rafting in a Tomsk way with colleagues, the press service of administration of the Tomsk district reports on Tuesday.
The international forum "White Water of Siberia" will be held again in the village of Kopylovo of the Tomsk district from August 17 to August 30. Rafting enthusiasts from 22 countries, including Canada, the United States, Brazil, Britain, Spain, the Czech Republic and CIS countries will become its participants", – the report said and clarified that the first forum was held in 2016, it was attended by rafters from 18 countries.
It is also reported that at the moment the competitive selection is coming to the end: the organizers of the event on the basis of the video-clip and author's essays will determine 40 athletes who will have a chance to get acquainted with the secrets of the Kopylovo rafting club "Odyssey".
"The whole world is surprised at how our guys from the "Odyssey" club, without a mountain river, become champions in this sport. At the forum we will show that our athletes are engaged in training not only on water, but also on land, which gives the corresponding result", – the representative of the press service of the district administration explained RIA Tomsk.

She also specified that the first part of the forum will be held at the training base of the "Odyssey" club in Kopylovo, where Tomsk athletes will conduct training on the land, will tell and show to foreign guests how they train "without water and strengthen team and fighting spirit". Then the forum participants will go to Altai to the Katun River.
According to the website of the Kopylovo teenage club "Odyssey", the rafters of the "Odyssey" club repeatedly won prizes in the world championships (2013, 2014 and 2015) and the European championships (2014, 2015 and 2016).
