Tomsk. Participants of the territorial innovative cluster
Smart Technologies Tomsk developed a "road map", which will be
provided to the Ministry of Economic Development (MED) in July; the main
direction – is dialogue between innovative companies with universities and
leading accelerators, the innovation portal of the Tomsk region reports on
Monday.
Earlier it was reported that SMART Technologies Tomsk
was included in the number of 11 clusters which are within the framework of the
project "Development of Innovative Clusters — Leaders of World-class
Investment Appeal" (aimed to increase the competitiveness in the world
market) will be supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the
Russian Federation.
"Representatives of the enterprises made
proposals to the "roadmap" for creating the interface for direct
interaction between universities and companies, as well as for holding
PR-actions to develop the brand of the Smart Technologies Tomsk cluster abroad
... In July, the "road map"... will be submitted for consideration to
the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation", - is said
in the statement.

It is explained that the development of the "road
map" was conducted in the directions of "Innovative medicines",
"Technical vision", "Arctic" and "Industrial
robotics". When developing the document, the CEO of the IFAR company
Veniamin Khazanov expressed the opinion about the need to develop partnership
with the leading foreign accelerators for the fastest output of the cluster's
products to the global markets.
Representatives of universities raised the issue of
the need of training seminars on projects packaging on the format of the
National Technical Initiative. They also proposed to create intra-cluster
business cafe in Tomsk, develop network educational programs in Tomsk universities
and from the budget compensate to the companies costs for research and
development, ordered by universities and scientific organizations.
SMART Technologies Tomsk - is the direct heir of the
cluster "Pharmaceuticals, Medical Equipment and Information Technologies
of the Tomsk region". Within the framework of the cluster 11 prospective
markets were identified. Among them - are technical vision, telemedicine,
industrial robotics, probiotics, pharmaceutical ingredients. Since 2017, the
cluster companies will begin to promote their products in these markets.
