SEMILUZHKI (Tomsky District), Jul 18 – RIA Tomsk. The
construction of the museum-house of Tsesarevich Nicholas in Semiluzhki was
completed, only the primary exposition placed there, the main exhibits will be
installed until the end of the year; technical opening will be held on July 22 – at the "Smith's Holiday", the head of the Tomsky District
administration Vladimir Lukyanov said on Tuesday.
Earlier it was reported that the construction of the copy of the guest house,
where tsesarevich stayed during the eastern travel in the XIX century, has to
be completed in the summer of 2016 in the village of Semiluzhki, Tomsk region.
For this project were budgeted about 3 million rubles. The contract with the
contractor was terminated due to the violation of the terms of work, it was
mastered about 1 million. The new contractor has to complete the work in 2017.
On Tuesday, during his trip around the Tomsky District, the head of the Tomsk
region Sergey Zhvachkin visited the museum.
"We planned to open the museum for the "Smith's Holiday" (July
22). The building was built, the primary exposition was placed. But the main
content will be mounted later, all the exhibits were not yet prepared by the
Museum of local lore", – Lukyanov said RIA Tomsk, adding that during the
"Smith's Holiday" "technical" opening of the museum will
take place.

As Lukyanov reported, the museum will one more place of interest of the
cultural and historical Semiluzhensky complex, which objects include the
Cossack jail, a pond and local house of culture. The representative of the
Museum of local lore specified that the main exposition in museum-house will be
established during 2017.
"In such museum the main thing is – philosophy. Not just the story about
that Semiluzhki and Tomsk were visited by Nicholas Alexandrovich, the future
emperor, but also why he basically did his Eastern journey. It must be noted
that he visited the grave of Fedor Kuzmich – it's interesting. It's necessary
that people have a sense to go here", – said the head of the Tomsk region
Sergey Zhvachkin.
Earlier it was reported, that the eastern travel of Tsesarevich Nicholas
Alexandrovich – is a trip of 1890-1891 during which future tsar Nicholas II
traveled almost all Eurasia and stopped in Tomsk in the road pavilion built for
him by Kukhterins merchants. The authorities planned to restore the house in
the Tomsk village of Semiluzhki in 2013, then schedules shifted.
