25 – RIA Tomsk. The Tomsk Arctic Medical Training LLC (it is created by group
of companies Center of Corporate Medicine and Siberian State Medical University
(SSMU) plans to open branch in August in
Moscow for carrying out courses on extreme medicine for organizations from the
Central Russia and Europe, the press service of the university reported on
Tuesday.
"The
Moscow branch of the Tomsk training center Arctic Medical Training which is
engaged in training of physicians for work on remote industrial facilities will
be opened on August 1. … The first group will start on August 2 in
Moscow", – it is said in the statement.
With
reference to the rector of SSMU Olga Kobyakova it is noted that the company
became more recognizable in education market, and the conducted courses attract
great interest of partners, as in Russia, and abroad.
"Tomsk
is rather far from the central Russia where our major customers are
concentrated. Besides, we plan to capture also Europe: recently, for example,
the young man from France wrote us that he wants to complete an instructor
course, but iy is too far to go to Tomsk", – the press service quotes the
general directorof the Center of corporate medicine Sergey Antipov.

It is
specified that the center will train in Moscow according to the following
programs: course of expanded resuscitation (ACLS), protocol of assistance to
victims with injuries (ATLS), course of basic resuscitation (BLS provider) and
course of expanded resuscitation (ACLS provider). Trainers of Arctic Medical
Training and instructors of National Council for Resuscitation will teach
courses.
Earlier it
was reported that Arctic Medical Training center was created in 2015. It was
the first in Russia which begun training of physicians with certificates of the
international sample for work in the conditions of the Arctic and offshore
fields, and later – for work in tropic latitudes and in other extreme
conditions.
