TOMSK, Aug 9 – RIA Tomsk. Institute of High Current
Electronics (IHCE) of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science
will deliver electronic beam equipment to Polytechnic University of Milan
(Italy) by February, 2018, the press service of the region administration
reports on Wednesday.
It is specified that the delegation of Polytechnic University of Milan and
Italian innovative companies visited the Tomsk Scientific Center (TSC) and IHCE
SB RAS, where they got acquainted with unique Tomsk technologies. Earlier the
institute and Milan University signed a memorandum of cooperation.
"The contract will be ready in the nearest future, the equipment
developed and made in IHCE SB RAS will be delivered to Milan from Tomsk till
February, 2018", – it is said in the statement.

It is specified that deliveries of Tomsk electronic beam equipment to Milan
are a first step in creation of the international research and production
center.
"It is the first stage of creation of the center of beam technologies
where an international research team will conduct basic researches and approve
new technologies for industry. Tomsk Scientific Center SB RAS acts as a project
coordinator", – the press service quotes vice-president for scientific
research of TSC SB RAS Alexey Markov.
It is also noted that IHCE SB RAS, besides cooperation with Polytechnic University
of Milan, participates in implementation of the project of laser thermonuclear
synthesis LMJ (France) and also signed the memorandum of cooperation with
Harbin Engineering University (China) in 2017.
