Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) representatives count on cooperation
with Iranian oil companies in the field of hard-to-recover oil extraction, and
oil and gas infrastructure development, said RIA Tomsk the deputy governor on
economy Andrey Antonov by the results of a meeting with the Iranian oil
business on Thursday.
On Thursday, a delegation of the Iranian oil company
ICOFC and a large oil service company of Iran PPZ arrived in Tomsk with a
working visit. The delegation includes heads of geological and technical
services ICOFC and PPZ, as well as heads of development projects.
"We have a mutual interest in the development of
the hard-to-recover oil extraction technology, and the Iranian side has an
interest in Tomsk innovative companies in the automation and development of oil
well management systems. We hope that by the results of tomorrow's work
contracts between Iranian and Tomsk companies will be signed. There are several
contracts for the supply of our equipment to Iran", – Antonov said.

The deputy governor specified that one of the
companies with which the contract is likely to be signed is the SIAM company.
To date, ICOFC and PPZ cooperate with Tomsk "Oilteam" and RC
"Gazinformplast."
"We are currently interested in investment
projects in the area of field development. Also we are interested in the
introduction of new technologies in the field of enhanced oil recovery.
<...> We see great opportunities for cooperation not only in the oil and
gas industry, but also in infrastructure development", – said Managing
Director of SZOGPC company ("daughter" of ICOFC) Golamp Hossein
Montazeri.
According to the press service of the Tomsk region
administration, the ICOFC company is one of five largest production companies
of the National Iranian Oil Company NIOC and is responsible for oil and gas
production in 76 fields, including 45 gas fields and 31 oil ones. ICOFC is one
of the largest producers of natural gas in Iran, supplying almost half of the
gas consumed in the country to the domestic market.
Pars Petro Zagros company (PPZ Co.) was founded by a
team of managers and specialists of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). It
has a rich experience in projects implementation in oil and gas industry.
