Average life expectancies of the Tomsk region citizens for the last five years
increased for 1,6 years – to 71,7 years, the press service of the regional
administration reports on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that growth
of average life expectancy is noted in the region: this indicator was up to
68,2 years in 2009, and it made 70,1 years in the 2012.
"For the last five years
mortality of residents of the region decreased, and life expectancy increased.
It makes 71,7 years today", – the press service quotes Zhvachkin.
The head of the region also added at
the meeting with the Tomsk physicians that the Tomsk region takes the leading
places in the country on some other indicators: a low mortality from illnesses
of the blood circulatory system and tuberculosis and a low infantile mortality.
Also it was reported earlier that
the indicator of mortality of the population of the Tomsk region from blood
circulatory system diseases was 507,5 cases on 100 thousand of the population
(across the Russian Federation – 631,8 cases) in general in 2015. This
indicator decreased by 3% in 2016.
