TOMSK, Sep 19 – RIA Tomsk. Territorial innovative cluster
SMART Technologies Tomsk announced on the creation of a project alliance in the
field of digital medicine Digital Health created on the initiative of Tomsk State University (TSU) and
Diagnostika+, Elecard Devices, Elecard-Med, Smart Innovations and SoftKristall
companies, the press service of the Tomsk region administration said on
Tuesday.
Earlier it was reported that SMART Technologies Tomsk was included in the
number of 11 clusters which are within the framework of the project
"Development of Innovative Clusters – Leaders of World-class Investment
Appeal" (aimed to increase the competitiveness in the world market) will
be supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
"The project alliance Digital Health is aimed at developing solutions
for obstetrics and gynecology, psychoneurology, orthopedics and traumatology,
disease prevention and healthy lifestyle ... (Its) creation was initiated by
Tomsk State University, Diagnostika+, Elecard Devices, Elecard-Med, Smart
Innovations and SoftKristall companies <…>, proceeding from mutually
complementary competencies", – is said in the message.

It is specified that the participants of the alliance will develop solutions
in the field of personalized medicine, biosensors, removal and processing of
data, iHealth, mHealth, BigData. The project alliance is at the stage of
formation. Interested companies can join it.
"The administration of the Tomsk region plans to support project
alliances which develop products that have significant export potential. New
products, jobs, expansion of the tax base to became the result of the
work", – the head of the department for innovative activities of the
regional administration Alexander Osadchenko is quoted as saying.
It is noted that officially the alliance will be formed at the end of
September.
SMART Technologies Tomsk – is the direct heir of the cluster
"Pharmaceuticals, Medical Equipment and Information Technologies of the Tomsk
region". Within the framework of the cluster 11 prospective markets were
identified. Among them – are technical vision, telemedicine, industrial
robotics, probiotics, pharmaceutical ingredients.
According to the press service of the regional administration, there are now
four alliances in the cluster: on the development of pharmaceutical ingredients
and biofarmsubstances, technical vision, equipment for regions with extreme
climatic conditions, and robotic systems.
