TOMSK, Sep 19 – RIA Tomsk. Engineers of the Tomsk company
XTRONIK created a sample of an electrocycle and a charging power plant for it
on the basis of their own design decisions, developments are not inferior to
foreign analogues by its characteristics, but at the same time have a lower
cost, the press service of innovative organizations of the Tomsk region said on
Tuesday.
It is specified that the electrocycle is designed for traffic on roads. When
creating the experimental sample, it was not the task to achieve high speeds,
so it can pass 60-100 kilometers on a battery with a capacity of 20 ampere
hours, developing a speed of 60-80 kilometers per hour. The electric motor,
frame, electronics, control unit and battery, more capacious and technological,
the developers have created themselves.
"In Russia, now electric vehicles and electrocycles are made by
individual craftsmen from Chinese spare parts, and no one has advanced on
electric motorcycles in the world further than prototypes. We already have a
model that moves along roads and can compete with foreign analogues", – the developer Ivan Gavrishev is quoted in the message.

It is noted that along with the electrocycle, Tomsk citizens also designed a
charger. Its generating station is installed indoors, on the street there is an
indication and connection panel. The station will be able to charge electric
bicycles, electric vehicles, work under any climate. With the same quality
characteristics, the development will cost less than its counterparts, which
Russia buys in Europe.
"Since January large filling stations in Russia are obliged to install
power stations to charge electric vehicles, the number and demand for electric
vehicles will grow", – Gavrishev said.
