included four universities of the Russian Federation, including Tomsk State
University of Architecture and Building (TSUAB) in the structure of the
organization at the meeting in Tomsk on Tuesday, the correspondent of RIA Tomsk
tells from the meeting of the Network in Tomsk State University (TSU).
The second meeting of rectors of the
Russian-Indian Network started in Moscow on October 4, on October 9 and 10 the
Indian delegation works in Tomsk. Representatives of the Indian side visited
Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, Siberian State
Medical University, Tomsk State and Tomsk Polytechnic Universities.
"I would like to ask to approve
the accession to our Network of four more members: we have a statement from
Irkutsk National Research University, from Mari State University, from Moscow
Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University and from Tomsk
State University of Architecture and Building", – the rector of TSU Eduard
Galazhinsky told at the meeting.
According to our correspondent,
representatives of association both with Russian, and from the Indian side
agreed with the proposal of the rector of TSU and added new members to ranks of
the organization.
"We had a remarkable program in
Tomsk these two days. There are a lot of interesting meetings, good
presentations. I consider that universities can continue the relations only at
joint research and development what we also aspire to", – the vice rector
for international affairs of the Indian Institutes of Technology in Mumbai
Rajiv Onkar Dusane told during the meeting.
