More 1,7 thousand people left Tomsk in 9 months of 2017, in 2016 – 196

TOMSK, Nov 20 – RIA Tomsk. Tomskstat fixes migration decline in population in the Tomsk region the second year in a row: but if the population was reduced by 196 people  due to the migration flow in nine months of 2016, then for January-September of the 2017th it is already 1765, the press service of the agency reports on Tuesday.

Earlier it was reported that the migration increase in population of the Tomsk region was observed in January-September, 2015 when the difference between number leaving the Tomsk region and arriving for permanent residence, made 75 people.

"In general due to migration outflow the population was reduced by 1765 people (in January-September, 2016 the migration decrease made 196 people) … Due to interregional migration (between regions of Russia) the population of the region was reduced by 1375 people (in January-September, 2016 –  393 people)", – it is said in the statement of the agency.

It is specified that the main share in the external migration flow was made by exchange of the population of the Tomsk region with regions of Russia in nine months of 2017 (92,3%of arrived and 91,5% of left).

The largest scale was reached by migration from the Tomsk region to the Central Federal District (502 persons), including to Moscow (292 persons) and also to the Southern Federal District (421 persons), including to Krasnodar Krai (332 persons). 72 persons left  to foreign countries from the region, 318 people to the CIS countries, it is specified in the message.
