TOMSK, Nov 30 – RIA Tomsk. Regional center of competences,
which will be engaged in development of techniques and technologies of use of
UAVs, will appear in Tomsk, universities and the companies of Tomsk, Tambov and
Izhevsk acted as initiators of its creation, the press service of the
innovative organizations of the Tomsk region reports on Thursday.
It is explained that Tomsk State
University, Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, Tomsk
Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science and
also other leading universities and companies from Tomsk, Tambov and Izhevsk
will take part in creation of the center, it will be included into
interregional network of the similar centers of competences of scope of
application of UAVs.
"Tomsk regional center of
competences of the sphere of unmanned aerial vehicle will appear act as a
center in the sphere of development of techniques and technologies of
application of UAVs, development of new types of such systems and their payload
capacities, the maintenance of UAVs solving application-oriented regional
problems of monitoring of territories and objects, data acquisition of distant
zoning of Earth and their subject processing", – it is said in the
massage.

It is noted that the center will
also train experts in the sphere of technologies of application of UAVs of
various level – from the average professional to the higher education. In the
next year it is planned to develop network educational programs and to organize
since 2018 training of experts in all universities and educational
organizations participating in the projects.
"Within development of
interregional network TUSUR and the innovative companies of Tomsk will be
engaged in development of a wide range of target loadings for UAVs of various
types considerably surpassing the products existing in the market and systems
in the characteristics", – it is added in the release.
